SoulSpace Retreats — Osa Major 2025
SoulSpace invited me to capture the heart of their most recent retreat at Osa Major, a hilltop sanctuary in rural Mallorca. My brief was to document the experience with authenticity; to create a photographic record that felt as peaceful, open, and grounded as the retreat itself. The images would be used across the SoulSpace website and social channels to showcase their upcoming events.
I approached the project as both an observer and participant — moving quietly through yoga sessions, shared meals, and unguarded moments between guests. My aim was to translate the feeling of being there: the slow rhythm of sunrise meditations, the warmth of communal dinners, the hush that settles after yoga practice.
Natural light was my compass. I favoured early-morning softness and golden evening tones, pairing wide landscape shots with intimate details: a hand on a yoga mat, herbs drying on the table, the flicker of candlelight before dinner. Every frame was intended to carry a sense of stillness and presence.
